Rackspace. Blog Engine

BlogEngine 3.1 seems to work fine on Rackspace, The product seems pretty stable, and the upgrade process from version two was easy. I don't think the auto-update works on Rackspace Cloud, but it's easy enough to shift the install to a stand-alone IIS server, upgrade it there, then shift it back. Or just manually upgrade it, which is what I did. This install's still "file based", but with 62 posts it's not showing any difficulty with that.

Burton Landlord 2014-2015

An Intel Haswell E X99 Machine for 4K Video Editing

In the 1980s one of my old mates would say: "The machine you want always costs £3,000". He was right, but he'd probably be surprised that that is what it still costs today. Burton Con Artist

I avoided this board in 2012-13 as it's only 152cm long and that's shorter than anything I ride. Plus mostly I ride where people used to say "go big or go home".

I couldn't find anyone who seemed to have, erm, actually ridden one. So I took a chance and rode a Con Artist for a couple of days in heli-accessed Monashee trees.

Here's the what I found...

Riding in Cambridge: Cyclists Dismount?

I live and ride in Cambridge, but our roads are controlled by the County Council, who it seems are only interested in how many cars they can squeeze into our ancient City. That seems like a bad idea for those "county" people, as well as a terrible one for those of us who live and work here.
